Every Boerboel Haven puppy follows a rigorous, vet-supervised vaccination and deworming schedule from birth.
We work closely with licensed veterinarians to ensure every puppy leaves our home protected, healthy, and ready to thrive. All vaccination records are provided at pickup.
All puppies receive their first deworming treatment at 2 weeks of age. This is standard practice to eliminate any parasites passed from the mother and protect the puppy's developing gut health.
A follow-up deworming treatment is administered at 4 weeks to maintain protection as the puppy's immune system continues to develop alongside maternal antibody coverage.
The first combination vaccine (Distemper, Hepatitis, Parvovirus, Parainfluenza) is administered. Puppies also receive a third deworming treatment at this stage.
A full veterinary examination is conducted at 8 weeks. The second DHPP booster is given, along with additional deworming if needed. This is the typical pickup age for our puppies.
For puppies remaining with us past the standard 8-week pickup, a third DHPP booster is administered at 10 weeks to maintain full coverage.
The rabies vaccine is administered at 12 weeks per veterinary guidelines and local requirements. Your new vet will continue this schedule on an annual or triennial basis going forward.
All Boerboel Haven puppies are microchipped before leaving our home. The chip is registered in our system and transferred to you at pickup. Microchipping provides permanent identification and dramatically increases the chance of reuniting with your dog if they are ever lost.
